POM Review

I had a busy weekend and was just now able to get caught up on all your blogs. I will post another recipe on Wednesday but I wanted to post a review of POM juice that was sent to me a few months ago. I'm sorry POM Wonderful for taking so long!

The gracious people at POM Wonderful sent me two large bottles of Pomegranate Nectarine and Pomegranate Kiwi 100% Juice. I was really pleased with its flavor and enjoyed it much more than the 100% POM juice. The addition of the kiwi and nectarine flavors made it somewhat tropical tasting. I tend to find the regular POM juice a tad tart and somewhat bitter but I didn't feel that way about these juices.

I also really enjoy Martinelli's apple juice but I find it too sweet so I mixed the two for a nice beverage cocktail over ice and drank it with breakfast. It's also really good with orange juice but the color isn't so attractive :-) It was really refreshing and I suggest if you can find it in your grocery store to give it a try.

I've seen POM in the stores, but I've never tried it. I like the idea of the Kiwi addition. Thanks!

I've only ever seen the 100% pom juice and I tried it cause I know it's good for you. I have to say, I'm not a fan though. I think it's way too tart. I'll have to look for the mixed flavors.

The mixed flavors are delish! I agree that 100% Pom flavor is a little too tart.
Some of the recipes on Pom website look amazing! A few are in my stack of recipes to try out. Has anyone made any of them?

Monica, I didn't have much luck with my creations with the POM juice :-/. I have to say my creations because NOBODY else would claim them. LOL! Looking forward to see what awesome creation you will post on Wednesday. Have a great week.

I have, yet, to blog to POM and I was feeling so guilty. I am not alone! I keep telling myself I want to make a POM reduction sauce. Thanks for the kick in the pants to do it! BTW, POM and vodka and club soda-- excellent!

I just had quail, farro and pomegranates at a restaurant last night, and promised myself I'd start using pom and pomegranate seeds. We're in sync!

I love that apple juice! I have the large one ready to go into the fridge and often say out loud that if anyone takes it will suffer my rath! The POM was a nice mix in with a cocktail I made, but to drink it was a little (lot) tart.

I tried the 100% pom juice, too, because I know how good it is for you, but I did not enjoy it. I bought two bottles and threw one away. Pomegranite juice straight from the fruit is much better! I will have to try the pom nectarine. Hoping it will be sweeter and I can enjoy this juice! Thanks for the suggestion of mixing it with the apple juice, too!
